CARE INSTRUCTION FOR CABINETRY, TABLE AND ACCESSORIES
The appearance of your piece of furniture depends not only on its design but also on its various elements being kept in good condition.
Watch out for scratches! Although LigneRoset is at the forefront of research into resistance to such things, surfaces may still be irreversibly damaged by rubbing with materials which are harder than they are (e.9.metal,porcelain).
The finishes used by Ligne Roset possess excellent qualities of resistance to the various forms of which a piece of furniture meets in the course of its everyday life.
Varnishes and lacquers do not require any assistance (e.g. wax or polish) to retain their initial sparkle over time. Care is limited to regular dusting and an occasional wipe with a soft cloth moistened with slightly soapy water or diluted glass cleaning liquid. Stains should be dealt with a quickly as possible in order to avoid any long - term deterioration in appearance.
Once in place in a house or apartment, all furniture will experience variations in tone: these are inevitable and arise from the low resistance to light of wood and other surface materials.
All varnishes used by Ligne Roset contain highly effective additives designed to inhibit the effects of light on the initial color of the materials but all the same,it is not advisable to expose your furniture to direct sun or moon light.
Lipstick or pen marks maybe removed using a white eraser. Greasy marks maybe removed with acetone; in each case finish by wiping with a cloth moistened with a proprietary glass-cleaning product (isopropyl) containing the least number of additives possible (e.g.rain-resistant products are not recommended). Do not use methylated spirits or silicone-based furniture polish.
A proprietary glass-cleaning product may be applied with a soft cloth. Do not use scouring agents, silver polish or anything abrasive.
Fingerprints and other marks maybe lifted with the application of a proprietary glass - cleaning product on a soft cloth. Do not use scouring agents, silver polish or anything abrasive.
Glass and enamelled surfaces maybe wiped with a soft cloth moistened with a proprietary glass-cleaning product or non-abrasive weashing-up liquid. Do not use scouring agents, silver polish or anything abrasive. Marks may also be removed with the aid of a plastic scourer -but metal scourer should be avoided at all costs.'>
